Forever 21 Rebrand

Project:

  • To rebrand a company and create new brand guidelines and a brand book based on the research conducted.

  • Design important branding aspects such as the brand signature, website homepage, shopping bags, mailing packaging, clothing tags, instagram page and business cards.

Key Research Insights:

  • Forever 21 does not have a coherent look and feel and is lacking in differentiation

  • Forever 21 has not been authentic with their core values and a rebrand would allow for a needed reset

  • Key competitors use strong imagery on their website/social media to brand themselves which Forever 21 was lacking

  • The new design aesthetic is modern and bright with warm colors which appeals to Forever 21’s demographic of teenagers to young adults

Main idea: Authentic, coherent, and modern brand identity
